Meet our team!
Hi! We're Lisa & Mike McGrath, the proud owners of Weather or Not Dog Walkers. Married since June 2014, we embarked on this journey together when we launched WoN in October 2016. Initially, Lisa ran the business full-time, and Mike joined full-time in July 2019. We are blessed with two grown children, three dogs—Stark, Natty Boh, & D—and two cats, Simon and Josie. Lisa has always loved animals and shamelessly admits to smiling at every dog she sees.
After over 26 years of working for 'the man,' she decided it was time to become her own boss—a decision that proved to be the BEST one ever made.

Lisa is also the founder of Thorin's Promise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance for families needing emergency veterinary care for their pets. Additionally, she is a certified instructor for Pet Emergency Education, teaching pet first aid and CPR to help pet owners and professionals be prepared in case of emergencies.

Through Weather or Not Dog Walkers, we've had the privilege of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful parents. We can't wait to meet many more and continue doing what we love!
Jacqueline - I've been with Weather or Not since 2017! I am a 2020 graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor's degree in Photography. Jeffrey - I'm so excited to join this fantastic team. I have two amazing cats, Charlotte and Webb, and I am a dog lover! I'm also a new resident to Wilmington, having moved from Minneapolis. Jon - I was lucky enough to join Weather or Not Dog Walkers in January 2022. My two fur- sisters, Fiona & Tosh, are long-time WoN clients! I've had a blast meeting everyone so far and look forward to continuing to care for your four-legged family members.
Mandy - I am so excited to join Weather or Not! I have always loved animals - for as long as I can remember. I spent over 10 years working at a local animal shelter, then I became a SAHM. I’m so happy to be able to serve families and their pets again! I am married with 4 kiddos, one dog and a grand dog. I enjoy spending time with my kids, hiking with the dogs, running, and lifting weights.

Michelle - After being a Weather or Not client for six years, I decided that working for them was the thing to do! My diva Boxer, Bella, and I live in N. Wilmington. During the week I am a preschool teacher. I love having walks to do on the weekend!
Tricia - I joined the Weather or Not pack in September 2022. I live in Wilmington with my family which includes my three beautiful children and my bonus son. We don't currently have any pets at home so I greatly enjoy the time I get to spend with all of our wonderful clients!
Julie - I am so excited to join the Weather or Not team! I have always loved animals and I enjoy being outside so this seems like a perfect fit for me. I live in North Wilmington with my three kids, my husband, and of course my two dogs, Daisy and Athena (my covid pup!). I am so excited to get to know your pets!
John: I was born and raised in North Wilmington and have loved animals all my life. My wife and I have two grown kids and three wonderful furballs. Our kitties, Lou and Wilbur, are big, friendly guys, and Molly is the cutest ball of love and energy. My brother and I have a small business building “Snug Huts,” which are feral cat shelters often used in the TNR community. I’m excited to meet many new furry friends at Weather or Not!
Emmi - I recently moved to Delaware from New York and am excited to join the Weather or Not team! Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. I’ve been pet-sitting for the past two years, rescued three dogs and several cats, and grew up riding horses and working on a farm. With animals playing such an important role in my life, I will take the next step by returning to school to become a vet tech!

Harris - I was inducted into the WoN family in October of 2024. By day I'm your typical corporate IT hero and by night I'm your trust worthy and caring dog walker. I was born and raised in DE. In my spare time I travel, lift and volunteer. I currently don't own any pets.
Amanda - As a lifelong animal lover and owner, I'm so happy to be part of the Weather or Not team! Over the course of my childhood, I grew up with 7 cats, 2 dogs, 2 hermit crabs, and more fish than I can count. I currently share 3 fur babies with my parents - Mia, a calico-Siamese cat, and two corgis, Bella and Tink (pictured here!) One day, when I own a house, I would love to foster pets and rescue wildlife. A lifelong Delawarean, I currently work full time for a nonprofit in Philly and live in Wilmington.
