Is Your Pet Starting to Slow Down?

Small changes can make a big difference in your senior pet's comfort, confidence and quality of life.

Our pets can't tell us when the stairs are getting harder, the floor feels more slippery or their favorite sleeping spot isn't as comfortable as it used to be.

The free Senior Pet Comfort Guide will help you look at your home and daily routines through your aging pet's eyes and discover simple ways to make everyday life a little easier.

Why I created this guide?

My dogs, Stark and Natty Boh, are both seniors now, and over the past few years, I’ve watched some of the things they’ve done their entire lives gradually begin to change. Getting into the car isn’t as easy for Stark anymore. Good footing matters more. Where and how they sleep has changed. Their needs today simply aren’t the same as they were when they were younger.

None of these changes happened overnight. They were little things that became noticeable over time. We’ve made adjustments along the way, sometimes as simple as adding rugs for better traction, changing sleeping arrangements, or paying closer attention to what seems comfortable for them now.

After a decade of caring for pets professionally, I’ve seen the same thing with so many of the senior pets we care for. Aging doesn’t always announce itself with one big change. Often, it shows up in the small things first.

I created the Senior Pet Comfort Guide to help pet parents recognize those changes and find simple, practical ways to make everyday life a little easier for the pets who have spent their lives making ours better.

They may be slowing down, but there is still so much we can do to help them enjoy the years ahead.
